Advising in Psychology
Psychology majors now receive academic-related advising from the college of Social Sciences and Education (SSE) Advising Center. Psychology faculty only do career and graduate school advising.
Students with questions about classes, course schedules, technical errors, etc., or anything related to academics can contact advisors at the College of Social Sciences and Education (SSE) Advising Center.
If you have questions about graduate school or careers in psychology, you can visit the CSUB Psychology Faculty page to review the content areas of the department's tenured and tenure-track faculty. Feel free to contact a faculty member who teaches and/or does research in an area in which you have interest. Note that psychology faculty do advising only for career and graduate school questions. Psychology faculty do not do academic advising.
Please note that you should reach out only to faculty who have "professor" in their title as lecturers in the psychology department are not contracted to do any form of advising - career, grad school, or otherwise.
