Honors Past Events - 2024-2025

Welcome Orientation

Newly admitted Honors students were officially welcomed into the Honors Program by Dr. Palaiologou, Acting Director of the Helen Louise Hawk Honors Program, and Dr. Adams, Dean of Academic Programs. During the event, students received their Honors certificates and pins and had the opportunity to connect with their new peers.

Week of Welcome Ceremony

Newly accepted Honors students were welcomed to CSUB by the CSUB President, Honors Directors, Honors Council, and CSUB administrators. Students received their Honors certificates and pins, and were able to meet their new fellow students.

Halloween Party

We hosted our annual Halloween party here at the Honor's Lounge. Students got to dress up and hang with friends, carve pumpkins, and enjoy food and candy.

President's Luncheon

The Honors students had the privilege of attending a private lunch with our CSUB President, Dr. Lynnette Zelezny. The students were able to become more familiar with one another and got to learn valuable advice and wisdom from President Zelezny.

Honors Welcome Ceremony

We welcomed our incoming new and transfer Honors students to our CSUB campus in August. Students, family, and friends were able to meet CSUB faculty and staff and become more connected to the Honors program. These new students were presented with their Honors certificates and Honors pin.
