BIO

I am a professor in the Department of English. I have been teaching at CSUB since Fall 2002. I received a bachelor's degree in Education (1986) and master's degree in English (1992) from the University of North Dakota. I earned a Ph.D. in English/Applied Linguistics, with a specialty in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), from Ball State University (Indiana) in 2000. My areas of specialization are second language acquisition theory and teaching second language writing.
