SLAC plans and organizes campus events and activities for CSUB-AV.  SLAC is a group of student volunteer representatives, established to plan and organize events while also providing oversight for funding of club events.  It is our goal to create a sense of community on campus while encouraging students to participate and interact with their peers, faculty, and staff in order to create a more rewarding college experience.

Meet your CSUB AV ASI Director.The ASI Director for CSUB Antelope Valley serves as the official representative of the Antelope Valley student body within Associated Students, Inc. This role advocates for student needs, ensures AV students have a strong voice in campus-wide decisions, and works to enhance student life through programming, services, and resources. The Director collaborates with CSUB administrators, faculty, and ASI leadership to bring opportunities and events to the Antelope Valley campus, while also managing student concerns and promoting campus involvement.

Campus Clubs

Clubs are vital to student life. Taking an active role in a club helps students to develop leadership and organizational skills that will be invaluable to them after graduation. Club involvement helps build personal development skills while encouraging networking with faculty and community leaders.  All clubs requesting funding for events must be a registered campus club. Information packets as to how to start up a club can be picked up in the Student Life office in the 500 building.
