Lobby Corps

Lobby Corps exists as a subcommittee of the University Affairs Internal Committee of the ASI.

Lobby Corps is chaired by the Vice President of Legislative Affairs and it exists to serve as a voice for students when lobbying local, state, and national legislators in regards to all issues pertaining to higher education, the CSU System, or California State University of Bakersfield.

Internships are year-long, and members learn how to apply professional speaking skills, research legislation on policy affecting higher education, as well as learning more about the public policy making process.
