Returning Student Application Steps
Returning Student from Spring 2023 or Later in Good Academic Standing
The following information is intended for undergraduate students who left CSUB in good academic standing or on probation during the Spring 2023 semester or later and are interested in returning to earn their Bachelor's degree.
If you meet the above qualifications, please submit the Request for Re-Enrollment Form for consideration. Once submitted, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will review your application. All official transcripts must be received before an admission decision will be rendered. Please note that the Re-enrollment Form will suffice for admission, and you do not have to submit a Cal State Apply application.
Students who enrolled at another institution during their absence from CSU Bakersfield must submit official transcripts from each institution attended. You are required to be in good academic standing and have an overall transferable GPA of 2.00 or higher. An admission decision will be communicated to you by email. Submission of the form is not a guarantee of readmission.
Spring 2026 Re-enrollment Form Deadline: September 29th, 2025
*If you are a returning student with new transfer coursework (you have attended another institution while absent from CSUB), all official transcripts must be on file before your request can be processed.
