RETURNING STUDENT APPLICATION STEPS
Returning Student Who Left Prior to Spring 2023 in Good Academic Standing
The following information is intended for undergraduate students who left CSUB in good academic standing or on academic probation prior to the Spring 2023 semester and are interested in returning to earn their Bachelor's degree.
If you left prior to Spring 2023 you must reapply for admission to the university via the CalState website for consideration during the application filing period.
- Fall 2026: October 1st, 2025 - June 1st, 2026
When reapplying be sure to indicate on the profile that you are a returning student and enter your CSUB ID#. *If you have attended another institution while you were absent from CSUB, you will need to submit official transcripts from your previous institution(s) before your admissions application can be processed.
Once submitted, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will review your application. All official transcripts must be received, before an admission decision will be rendered.
Students who enrolled at another institution during their absence from CSU Bakersfield must submit official transcripts from each institution attended. You are required to be in good academic standing and have an overall transferable GPA of 2.00 or higher. An admission decision will be communicated to you by email. Submission of the application is not a guarantee of readmission.
